Utility Rates
Water Rate

- Senior Rate: 0.00403 per gallon
Sewer Maintenance Rate
- 0.00185 per gallon
- Senior Rate: 0.00092 per gallon
Refuse Rate - per two-month billing cycle
- Regular Rate: $50.06
- Senior Rate: $40.04 (Please see below for eligibility requirements)

- Each water account is assessed a base service rate according to the size of the meter.

Utility Bill Payment Options

Pay your water bill online: Payments may be made using Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover for a one-time or recurring payment, as well as e-check, or direct debit from your checking account. View instructions for the new utility bill portal.

Pay by phone: Call 630-554-1555 anytime (24/7) to make a payment with your credit or debit card or e-check by phone. Please note, you must have your customer number and account number.

Pay in person: Stop by Oswego Village Hall, 100 Parkers Mill, at the intersection of Route 34 and Route 31. After hours, use the 24-hour drop box located in the parking lot outside the main entrance to Village Hall.
Late Payments
Payment must be received in our office by the due date to avoid a 10% penalty charge. Failure to receive bill or payment by the due date does not excuse the late charge. Payments must be received, not postmarked, by the Due Date to avoid the penalty charge. Please note: If you pay your bill via your bank’s bill payment website, make certain you are instructing them to mail the payment to the Village of Oswego, 100 Parkers Mill, Oswego, IL 60543.
