Woolley Road
Autumn 2025 Update
Work is progressing on the next section of Wolfs Crossing, stretching from the west side of the new Piper Glen subdivision to the south leg of Douglas Road. This phase will widen Wolfs Crossing to four lanes and include a modern roundabout at the Douglas Road intersection to improve traffic flow and safety.
Beginning late September / early October, crews will install a new water main along the north side of Wolfs Crossing, from Fifth Street to Della Street. The main roadway construction had the bid opening on Friday, September 19, 2025. Work is anticipated to begin March 2026 and end late November 2026, weather permitting. Wolfs Crossing and Douglas Road will remain open to traffic during construction.
Plans were also completed and submitted on September 1, 2025, for the third segment of Wolfs Crossing, which will run between Fifth Street and Harvey Road. The Village is currently acquiring the necessary right-of-way. A construction start date for this segment has not been determined but will not take place in 2026.
Once complete, these improvements will bring the Village another step closer to a safer, more efficient Wolfs Crossing for all residents.
The Village continues to work on future preparation and plans for the Fifth Street Roundabout (connecting the second segment to the third segment) and the US 30 segments.
