Tobacco License: 3-19-1

All persons or entities selling, offering for sale, giving or delivering tobacco products, alternative products, vapor products, electronic smoking devices/electronic cigarettes and non-electronic smoking devices in the Village will be required to hold and maintain a valid tobacco license from the village.

The license period: January 1st through December 31st

Fee structure

• New Retail/Ancillary fee= $200.00 (includes one background check)
• Renewal Retail/Ancillary fee= $100.00
• New Tobacco Store fee*= $650.00 (includes one background check)
• Renewal Tobacco Store fee= $550.00
• Each additional background check= $100.00

*Tobacco store shall mean an establishment that derives more than 50% of its gross revenue from the sales of tobacco, alternative products, vapor products, electronic smoking devices/electronic cigarettes and non-electronic smoking devices.
