The Planning & Zoning Division is responsible for reviewing all development plans and ensuring their adherence to Oswego's Zoning Ordinance. The Zoning Ordinance regulates things such as land use, lot size, setbacks, signage, parking, lighting, and landscaping, which help to manage the physical development of our village and the overall well-being of our communities. This division also develops comprehensive plans, long-range growth strategies, and historic preservation guidelines.
