- The Citizens at Risk (C.A.R.) program is designed to allow residents who may be at a greater risk of becoming confused, lost, disoriented, or missing to be registered with the Oswego Police prior to an emergency. Illinois Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Waubonsee Community College: Provides a wide variety of free and low-cost resources for aspiring, new and small business owners. Some of the business topics they cover include business development, marketing, financial planning, and strategic planning.
SCORE Land of Lincoln (formerly Fox Valley): Provides mentoring to business owners working to start or grow their existing businesses. You can choose a mentor on the SCORE website based on your individualized needs.
Women’s Business Development Center (WBDC): Provides several different forms of business assistance to women-owned businesses. Similar to SCORE, their mission is to provide support to business owners and help accelerate business development and growth.
Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA): Various additional resources available to minority-owned businesses.
