Development & Restaurant Partners Wanted

One of Chicagoland's fastest-growing communities,  the Village of Oswego continues to redevelop and redefine its historic downtown along the scenic Fox River.

Over the last three years, tens of millions of dollars have been invested to catalyze new high-end, mixed-use developments which include several independentMain Street restaurants and retailers.  Join these other developments in this evolving commercial area.

NEW BUSINESSES
  • Taco Dále Cantina hosted a grand opening for its new full-service restaurant at 123 Washington Street in August 2025.
    • American-Male is a new men's apparel retailer that held a grand opening event for its new store at 27 Main Street in June 2025.
      • Freddie's Off the Chain opened a new bricks-and-mortar Mexican-style restaurant at 11 S. Madison in April 2025.
      • Nash Vegas Saloon, a new restaurant and live entertainment venue, opened in a former 6,200 SF brewery space in July 2024.
      • Paws on Main, an independent pet supply retailer, opened in March 2024.
      COMING SOON
      • Bay 54 is a new upscale cocktail lounge being proposed at 57 Main Street by the same group that owns and operates "The Lewis" in St. Charles. They are currently in for permits to start their substantial buildout which they're targeting for an anticipated completion date of Late Fall/Early Winter 2025.
      • The Brant at Oswego Senior Living is under construction for a mix of 142 independent, assisted living, and memory care residential units. They expect to complete construction and be open by late 2025
          • The Shodeen Group is under construction on a new luxury multi-family residential building north of its previous mixed-use project at 77 S. Adams Street. Once completed, the development will feature 104 residential units along with a 123-space public parking deck. Construction is ongoing and expected to be completed in Fall 2026.
