Oswego Police arrested a 17-year-old male juvenile at Oswego High School

ARRESTEE: Male Juvenile, 17 YOA of Montgomery 

CHARGES: Possession of Alcohol by Minor (Class A Misdemeanor), Consumption of Alcohol by Minor (Class A Misdemeanor), Resisting Arrest (Class A Misdemeanor)

On Tuesday, October 7, 2025, Oswego Police arrested a 17-year-old male juvenile at Oswego High School, for possession of alcohol by a minor, consumption of alcohol by a minor, and resisting arrest.

At approximately 12:02 p.m., school staff requested assistance from the Oswego High School Resource Officer during an investigation involving a student. During the investigation, the student was disruptive and non-compliant with both school staff and the School Resource Officer. Additional officers responded to the school to assist. The incident concluded with the student being taken into custody and transported to the Oswego Police Department. He was released to his parents and issued a juvenile referral for the charges to await a court date through the juvenile justice system. No one was injured during the incident.
