- The Citizens at Risk (C.A.R.) program is designed to allow residents who may be at a greater risk of becoming confused, lost, disoriented, or missing to be registered with the Oswego Police prior to an emergency. Personal Self Defense Course
The Oswego Police Department's personal self defense class for recent female high school graduates will be on June 6, 2026. Registration will open Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 5 p.m.
Class is Saturday, June 6, 2026 from Noon to 2 p.m.
*** The class requires participants to fill out a Self Defense Hold Harmless waiver. Please complete it and upload it to your application form below, or bring it with you to class. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must also sign the waiver prior to the beginning of the class. You will not be allowed to participate without a signed waiver.
