In 2026 we’re honoring this moment with a community-wide celebration filled with patriotism, pride and hometown spirit.<br><br>📅 Date: July 4, 2026 | 3:30-9 p.m. | <strong>Rain or Shine</strong><br><br>📍 Location: Prairie Point Park, 4120 Plainfield Road, Oswego<br><br>🎇 Fireworks: Watch a special fireworks show choreographed to music beginning shortly after 9 p.m. <strong>If weather impacts the fireworks display, fireworks will be moved to July 5</strong>.<br><br>🎤 Live Music: Enjoy live music all afternoon long from DJ Suavesmooth, Take Note Quartet, American Legion Band, and Superfly Symphony.<br><br>🏎️ Oswego History: Take a walk down memory lane with historical photos and artifacts from Oswego's history, including the iconic Oswego Drag Strip.<br><br>🚘 Car Show: Check out countless classic cars at the Oswego250 Car Show, hosted by the Fox Valley Cruisers.<br><br>🛝KidzZone: Kid-friendly fun including laser tag, archery tag, gaga ball, and more - all free!<br><br>🪄 Magic Shows: Watch three different magic performances taking place throughout the afternoon.<br><br>🍔 Food &amp; Treats: Grab a bite from local favorites including American Legion hamburgers and hot dogs, Pariente Mix, The Scoop, The Popcorn Store, Kona Ice, Billy Bricks and Strawberries BBQ throughout the celebration!
