Mark your calendar—something bright is coming this fall.
On October 17, Oswego will debut a new community tradition with the Oswego Lantern Festival, an evening celebration designed to bring neighbors together in a truly memorable way. Residents of all ages are invited to craft their own lanterns and take part in a glowing parade from the Oswego Public Library to Hudson Crossing Park.
Leading up to the event, the Village will host a series of lantern-making workshops throughout the summer, giving families, friends and neighbors the chance to create something special together. Then, as night falls on October 17, those handmade lanterns will light the way through downtown, transforming the Fox River corridor into a moving display of color and creativity.
The evening continues at Hudson Crossing Park with a lively market featuring food vendors, music, local makers and more!
Whether you join a workshop or build your lantern at home, the Oswego Lantern Festival offers a chance to connect, create and be part of something new.
More details, including workshop dates, will be shared soon.
