Drive N Dine at the Park N Ride: Coco

The Village of Oswego and the United City of Yorkville invite you to experience all the retro fun of a drive-in movie at approximately 8:10 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 2, with a screening of Coco at the Park N Ride lot, on Station Drive in Oswego.

The two communities have joined together to show ‘Coco’ on the giant inflatable screen for a real drive-in movie experience with this soon-to-be classic from Pixar.

Join aspiring musician Miguel on his unforgettable journey to the Land of the Dead to find his great-great-grandfather, a legendary singer, and overturn his family’s ancestral ban on music. Coco is recommended for ages 7 and up by Common Sense Media.

Tune your car’s radio into the radio station announced at the event grounds to listen to the film’s audio, featuring an Oscar-winning soundtrack, from the comfort of your car.

Plus, enjoy pre-movie activities for the kids, a bounce house, and food vendors including The Wurst Kitchen, Kona Ice, and the adjacent Steve Buresh’s Cheesecake and Sandwich Shop, who will offer tempting treats to enjoy while you watch the film.

A portion of the lot will be reserved up front for movie-goers who want to watch up close. Bring your chairs to stake out a spot.

Bring the whole family! The Dine N Drive at the Park N Ride is a free event for all ages, brought to you by a shared services partnership between the United City of Yorkville and the Village of Oswego to provide more services to our residents more efficiently. Pre-film activities begin at 7 p.m., with the film beginning at sundown, approximately 8:10 p.m., on Thursday, Aug. 2, at the Park N Ride, Station Drive, Oswego.
