Downstate Small Business grant DEADLINE MAY 27
Oswego small businesses have until noon Wednesday, May 27, to apply for grants of up to $25,000 from the State of Illinois’ Downstate Small Business Stabilization Program.
The grants, funded by the State of Illinois and administered through the Village of Oswego, offer 60 days of working capital, up to a total of $25,000, to small businesses of 50 or fewer employees that were categorized as non-essential during the statewide Stay at Home Order.
Businesses considering applying should email Economic Development Director Corinna Cole at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible to express interest and get more information.
The application, along with eligibility and documentation requirements, can be found at http://www.oswegoil.org/economic-development/downstate-stabilization.aspx.
This State-funded program has several strict eligibility and documentation requirements, and businesses must apply through the Village of Oswego to be considered for the grants. Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until the May 27 deadline.
Village staff will then work with business owners to complete the full application process. A public hearing to review applications will be held during the meeting of the Oswego Village Board on Tuesday, June 23.
For questions about applying to the Downstate Small Business Stabilization Program, contact Economic Development Director Corinna Cole at 630-551-2334 or email@example.com.
