Early voting starts at Oswego Village Hall

Registered voters in Kendall County can vote early from March 18 through March 28 at Oswego Village Hall for the April 2, 2019, Consolidated Election. Other early voting locations are also open. For a complete list of early voting dates, times and locations, click here

Curious about when the rumored new Mexican restaurant is opening? Wondering how downtown construction will affect your commute this spring? Get answers to all your burning questions about exciting new downtown Oswego construction projects straight from the source.

The Village of Oswego invites residents and the public to a Downtown Construction Open House on Wednesday, March 20, from 5 to 7 p.m. at East View Academy, 4209 Route 71, Oswego.

Staff will be on hand to talk about new restaurant and retail spaces, public parking, office and living spaces, and streetscaping upgrades that will develop in downtown Oswego as construction workers break ground this spring and summer. Attendees can also ask questions about how the new developments will affect downtown traffic and parking, get detailed financial information about how the downtown TIF District affects development and taxes, and more.

This open house is free and open to the public. There is no formal presentation included. Simply drop in anytime between 5 and 7 p.m. to learn more, ask questions, view maps and renderings of the new downtown construction, and offer comments. The event will be held in the cafeteria of East View Academy, 4209 Route 71. Enter through door 21.
