Oswego is a Green Community

Oswego’s good green activities are noted by Cool Cities and the Electric Power Aggregation Plan.

Cool Cities: In 2007, the Village of Oswego promised to reduce greenhouse-gas emissions 7% per capita, compared with the 1990 level.

Oswego achieved that goal by buying green energy for its residents through the Village of Oswego Electric Aggregation Program. The program saves you money on electric bills and makes our environment greener.
